T2i with shutter speed set to 1/4000 sec
Check it out!
My friend Andrew Chiu showed a video at his presentation for After Effects Toronto that was shot with a Canon 5D Mk.II where the shutter speed was set to 1/4000 sec. (if you haven’t seen Andrew present, do).
In this video a musician was playing an upright bass and the string reverberation made the strings go bananas when slowed down that much. I figured I should give it a shot. I brought one of my guitars into the studio and tried it out. The lighting is brutal, but who has time for lighting when it’s time for rocking?

that is definitely what I was searching for, You have saved me alot of time
Glad it helped! I tried this with one of our NX5Us and it worked well too. I found that I had to get creative with lighting to really get it looking good, but the effect is definitely cool.
